He has been a faculty member of The Parsons School of Design and the Art Institute of New York.<br /><br />Evan has photographed many distinguished residences around the world including the homes of Sting and Trudie Styler (published in Architectural Digest), Lenny Kravitz, Julian Schnabel, Rupert Murdoch, Naomi Campbell, Harry Belafonte and Betsey Johnson. He later made a name for himself through magazine work for European publications and advertising assignments for leading car companies, mixed with personal projects. In 1988 Ludwigson became a contract photographer for Condé Nast Traveler in New York.
